We like the more robust, well protected heel as we do a lot of rucking and walking in addition to other workouts. In my humble opinion, i would size up a half size if wearing socks is the usual habit. Different lacing system seems to work fine. Laces seem less substantial with maybe potential to break down the road? They feel nice on and we enjoy using them.
